Laser Vein Removal

Many patients are bothered by unsightly veins that can be visible through the skin. On the face, these are known as facial telangiectasias. The Iridex DioliteTM is a laser with a wavelength that targets hemoglobin in red blood cells. This results in occlusion of the blood vessel leading to its disappearance. The Iridex DioliteTM can also be used to treat other small vascular lesions such as cherry hemangiomas which appear as red dots.
