The Light-Sheer® Diode Laser System is the industry “gold standard” for hair removal. The light energy from the laser is absorbed by the pigment located in the hair follicles, resulting in damage to the hair follicle itself. The profile of this laser allows for treatment of all skin types including tanned skin and most hair colors. Multiple treatments (at least 4-6) are required in order to see satisfactory results. The LightSheer® Diode Laser System is also equipped with a patented ChillTip™ that provides continuous contact cooling of skin which increases patient safety and comfort. Hair removal is possible on all parts of the body, including sensitive areas like the lip, under the arms, and around the bikini line as well as large areas like backs or legs.
